Wheel of Knowledge Published by Wheel Limited
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Wheel Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the mobile game Wheel of Knowledge (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Wheel Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17163116). Registered office: 26 Cowper Road, Slough, SL2 1TQ, United Kingdom.
Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you are 18 or over. We do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account, play, start a trial, or subscribe.
Your account
You sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that takes place under your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the service, cheat, or harm other players.
Free trial and subscriptions
The App offers a free trial followed by an auto-renewing subscription required to continue playing.
- The trial period is 72 hours and it begins when you sign in for the first time using Apple or Google. No charge is made during the trial period.
- After the trial ends, continued play requires an active paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are offered on the stated plans and prices shown in the App at the point of purchase (for example monthly, six-monthly, and yearly options). Prices may vary by region and are shown in your local currency at checkout.
- Billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by Wheel Limited. Payment is charged to your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store or Google Play. We do not process payments directly and generally cannot issue store refunds ourselves.
Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the App or its content except as permitted by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, or interfere with fair play;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, our servers, or other users’ accounts;
- disrupt, overload, or harm the service or other players;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
The App is server-authoritative: game outcomes, scoring, and timing are determined by our servers to keep play fair. Attempts to manipulate results on your device have no effect and may lead to suspension.
Content and intellectual property
The App, including its game design, board, questions, artwork, names, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Wheel Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. The “Wheel of Knowledge” name and branding may not be used without our permission.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date will change and continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Trivia content is provided for entertainment and may contain errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wheel Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
Apple and Google terms
Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from. For iOS, the Apple standard End User License Agreement applies (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) in addition to these Terms; where they conflict on Apple-specific matters, the Apple EULA governs. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or for providing support or handling claims relating to it, except as set out in their own terms.
